Volunteer with the
Behavioral Health Program
Lestonnac Free Clinic strives to assist our community and patients with all aspects of their health, including mental health.
Our approach is to create a holistic and collaborative effort for each and every patient in general medicine, specialty care, including mental health treatments. Our staff and Health Care providers work together to provide the best patient care services.
One of the ways we are able to provide services are through Marriage and Family Therapy Trainees and Associates and Licensed (AMFT, LMFT) professionals.
As a low-income and uninsured-serving community clinic, many of our patients have not had prior mental health services. Patience, compassion, cultural sensitivity and understanding is necessary when working with LFC’s patients. Mental Health During the Pandemic provides insight into some of the struggles faced by Lestonnac patients and demonstrates the impact you can make by volunteering with our Behavioral Health program.
In 2021, 94 patients received behavioral health services through 789 visits.
