Lestonnac, through its own volunteer program and partnerships with school programs and nonprofits, provides invaluable experience for students wishing to learn more about community medicine. Lestonnac partners with local Medical School programs, lending itself as a facility where residents treat patients under an attending provider. We additionally have student run clinics at our Garden Grove and Orange locations each Saturday. Lestonnac operates as an internship site for both Medical Assistants and Ultrasound Technologists, through our partnerships with Taller San Jose and Platt college, respectively. Local pharmacy schools are educated on how to perform foot exams, prescription refills, and patient medication counseling.
